Pérez-Llorca

Carlos Mercadal joined Pérez-Llorca in 2017, after completing a summer internship at the firm in 2016 and a prior internship at an international law firm in 2015. Between 2022 and 2023, he worked as an international associate in the New York office of a US law firm, where he participated in equity and debt capital markets transactions in both the US and international markets.

Carlos has developed his career advising national and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, as well as on a wide range of capital markets transactions. His experience includes IPOs, tender offers, capital increases, bond issuances, corporate restructurings and corporate governance matters relating to listed companies. He has acted for private equity funds, investment banks, listed companies and financial institutions, providing comprehensive transactional and regulatory advice. His international experience in New York has further strengthened his exposure to complex cross‑border capital markets operations and sophisticated corporate transactions.
