Pérez-Llorca

Mario H. Maldonado joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2023, having previously spent more than five years at a renowned international law firm. Before that, he developed his career at two boutique litigation firms and another international law firm.

Mario has over nine years of experience advising both individuals and companies on white-collar criminal matters. He has acted before the main criminal courts and tribunals in Spain in all types of proceedings, including major macro‑cases and complex, high‑stakes investigations. In addition to his litigation work, Mario has focused a significant part of his career on the design, implementation and review of compliance programmes. He has also advised extensively on anti‑money laundering (AML) and counter‑terrorist financing (CTF) matters and is currently registered as an external AML/CTF expert with SEPBLAC.
