Anita has a wide experience of dealing with various personal injury matters on behalf of claimants including all types of accidents and injury at work, occupiers' liability, highways claims, defective product liability, accidents in public places and road traffic accidents involving drivers, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists. She also has experience of dealing with stress claims, CICA matters and assaults both in and out of the work place as well as fatal claims. She has considerable knowledge of fast track and multi-track litigation and procedural matters having had a number of successful trials. She also deals with claims of high value and with claims involving provisional damages awards.

    In recent years, the country ŐĀs the government has been committed to improving Taxation in Nicaragua and attempting to follow the legislative model used by some of the other countries in the region. Starting January 1st, 2013, a new tax law (Law No. 822, Tax Concertation Law) came into force in and completely changed the taxation system in Nicaragua. Two years later a new law was issued by the National Assembly containing more than 80 amendments, additions and repeals (Law No 891) which came into force December 18th, 2014.
