David is a partner and a member of our Corporate and Betting and Gaming groups. He advises clients on a full range of corporate and commercial matters, principally across the gambling and technology sectors, as well as providing general strategic advice. In terms of his corporate practice, David has a wealth of experience in advising companies across all aspects of their legal requirements, including private and public M&A transactions, joint ventures, fundraisings and re-organisations. Prior to joining Wiggin, David was General Counsel at a leading gambling software supplier.

Wiggin LLP‚Äôs team is noted for its expertise in the media, technology and IP sectors. Michael Brader¬†leads the practice jointly with Adrian Jones; Brader, who has a strong reputation in independent TV production and sports matters, recently advised Perform on the acquisition of football player data business Scout 7, and Jones, who is also active in the TV sector, acted for Centaur Media on the ¬£16.5m share acquisition of lead-generation business Market Makers. David McLeish¬†and Ben Whitelock¬†specialise in gambling M&A transactions; McLeish acted for the founders of B2C gambling operator Royal Panda on the ‚ā¨120m sale of the group to LeoVegas and for software supplier Playtech on the ¬£50m share acquisition of Eyecon Games, a supplier of online gambling and social gaming slots software. Ciaran Hickey, who heads the firm‚Äôs high-growth technology group, assisted the sellers of Gamer Network with its sale to ReedPOP.

Technology experts David Naylor and Shaun Lowde jointly head the practice at Wiggin LLP, which specialises in advising fintech companies and platforms on commercial, corporate and regulatory work. Lowde advised Vizolution, which provides screen-sharing solutions, on various commercial contracts with financial institutions, and along with Gurminder S Panesar acted for iPipeline on commercial and regulatory matters. Naylor continues to advise RightIndem on corporate and commercial matters. Additionally on the corporate side, Benjamin Whitelock assisted InMotion Ventures with its investment into By Miles. David McLeish advised Safecharge on gambling regulatory matters. Other clients of the department include iGo4, Worldpay and Parity Technologies.
