Neil advises on share sales, business sales, joint ventures, fund establishments and restructurings. His significant M&A experience covers both the UK and cross border, particularly emerging markets, and he has acted for a number of private equity clients in the Middle East, having previously been seconded to our Dubai office for over three years. Neil has particular equity capital markets experience, including advising in relation to the UKLA Listing Rules, the AIM Rules of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and the UK Takeover Code.

It¬†leverages the firm's presence in the Middle East and Africa to advise on deals in these regions. In addition, it works closely with Istanbul-based BalcńĪońülu Sel√ßuk Akman Keki, which provides the firm with Turkish law services;¬†Nik Colbridge¬†led a group (involving members of both firms), which advised DP Eurasia on its ¬£148m admission to listing on the premium segment of the UK Listing Authority.¬†

Neil Nicholson heads the mining offering in Dentons 's London office with substantial corporate M&A experience including share and business transactions, fund matters and equity capital markets. He is supported by insolvency and restructuring specialist Will Gunston and Evgenia Laurson who focuses on project financing matters in the energy sector and splits her time between London and Moscow. The firm's recent merger with Maclay, Murray & Spens added a significant Scotland-based strength to its overall offering, particularly in the domestic space.
