The London team at Dentons, which is integrated into a global network of offices, is well-placed to advise multinational corporates, private equity funds and financial institutions on their cross-border transactions. The group has a strong advisory practice, where it often assists with structuring issues. It also has a niche in advising tax risk insurers. Alex Thomas, who is a co-chair of the global tax practice (and also heads up the London team), leads on the insurance-related work. James Meakin is experienced in corporate and real estate transactional tax, while Alex Tostevin focuses on private equity deals.
