Euan is a partner in the Infrastructure team with 23 years’ experience and specializes in large infrastructure and project finance transactions such as PFI, NPD, hub, BSF and LIFT. As a dual-qualified lawyer, Euan has worked on projects throughout the UK.

Euan has a particular focus in the area of secondary market PFI/PPP transactions and is recognized as a market-leading figure in this area, advising large UK investment funds and a range of other significant market players.

In addition, Euan provides strategic advice to equity investors and directors on dozens of operational projects (from a client book of more than 60 operational projects). Clients include Aviva, Dalmore Capital, Semperian, Sir Robert McAlpine, AMP Capital (Irish infrastructure fund), Morgan Sindall Investments, 3i Infrastructure and Network Rail.

The Dentons infrastructure practice advises on UK projects as well as leveraging the firm’s global presence to advise on matters across the globe, including in Liberia, Nigeria and Jamaica. Another area of work is assisting clients on the expiry of their projects, notable examples being a wastewater project, an army equipment project, an acute hospital project and a naval equipment/services contract. Edinburgh-based Euan Wilson specialises in large infrastructure and project finance transaction. He co-leads the team with consultant Dominic Spacie, who has experience advising banks, institutional investors, development finance institutions, contractors and various government entities on domestic and international PPP, PFI and concession-based infrastructure-related projects.

Acting as exclusive legal services provider to Network Rail, Dentons has rail sector work at its core and handles the full spectrum of business-relevant contentious and non-contentious matters, including real estate, construction, health and safety, commercial contracts and procurement. The group also assists with transactions, disputes and various commercial matters in the ports, road and bus sectors. The team is jointly led by construction procurement specialist Mark Macaulay and Euan Wilson, who has a specialism in infrastructure and project finance transactions.
