Position

Pieter Huys has been working as an Employment lawyer at AKD in Rotterdam since 2000. He mainly specialises in industrial conflicts, reorganisations, corporate transfers (outsourcing) and matters subject to the right of participation. He frequently advises national and international companies in the course of national and cross-border reorganisations arising from mergers and acquisitions. Pieter Huys’s regular clients include Boskalis dredging company, Carrier, CEVA Logistics, Du Pont de Nemours, Pernod Ricard and Rademaker.

Member

Pieter is a member of the Rotterdam Employment Lawyers Association (‘VRAA’) and the Netherlands Employment Lawyers Association (‘VAAN’). He is also a member of AKD’s Employee Participation Working Group, and is the leader of this group.
