Career

Julian Versmissen is a lawyer and partner at AKD who specialises in (international) real estate transactions and civil law consultancy in relation to commercial real estate. Julian has plenty of experience with supervising a variety of investment transactions, for example of offices, retail premises and distribution centres. He is particularly experienced in (turnkey) development projects, property transformation projects, sale & leaseback arrangements, asset management and sales and building contracts. Julian also focuses on lease and construction of aspects of transactions and legal proceedings. His clients include developers, (international) investors, construction companies and government bodies.

Julian has written a variety of different publications. For example he was the co-author of the chapter entitled ‘Real estate investments in the Netherlands’ in the German legal handbook entitled ‘Rechtshandbuch Immobilien-Investitionen’ published by Verlag C.H. Beck.
