Marc Wintgens is a partner and board member at AKD. His fields of expertise are private construction and real estate law. Marc focuses on complex cases involving government bodies and private parties. He is a leading specialist in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, energy, care, project development and real estate.

Marc has become a specialist in the drafting of, and litigating on, complex construction law contracts. He advises during the design, construction, financing, maintenance and/or the management of large building projects and draws up the necessary contracts. He has, for example, already done this for integrated projects, non-residential works, infrastructural projects (onshore and offshore), large-scale residential and non-residential construction.

Marc has written a variety of publications and is the (co-)author of various books. Marc also lectures in construction and real estate law at Utrecht University.

In the field of real estate law Marc focuses on (international) real estate transactions, project development and related contracts, such as public-private partnerships. In that context he has conducted negotiations and drawn up contracts in extremely complex and extensive real estate developments.
