Moses has acted as an arbitrator in multiple ad hoc UNCITRAL commercial tribunals and served on the PPDA Appeals Tribunal, handling complex multi‑million‑dollar public procurement disputes. He has successfully defended an international construction company in an ICC arbitration involving a USD 1 million claim. He has also served as Rule 74 Counsel before the International Criminal Court in The Hague

Fiona Davies Nalwanga

Fiona is a Partner in the Corporate Advisory Team with over 20 years of experience in multi-jurisdictional commercial transactions cutting across corporate M&A, Private Equity, Energy, Mining and Natural Resources, Projects & Infrastructure, and general corporate commercial, regulatory and investment advisory. Her representative matters include advising on major acquisitions in the renewable energy sector—notably the acquisition of a 49.75% stake in Bujagali Energy Limited. She has supported multinational clients such as Prudential PLC, Dentsu Aegis Network, TPG Growth, and leading European gaming and telecom companies on proposed acquisitions in Uganda, covering transaction structuring, regulatory approvals, and negotiation of transaction documents. Fiona's  experience extends to regulatory advisory for public‑private partnerships, and entities in the finance space (including fintechs such as Flutterwave).
Timothy Masembe Kanyerezi

Timothy Masembe Kanyerezi

Timothy Masembe Kanyerezi is the Managing Partner and also heads the firm’s Dispute Resolution Team. His practice focuses mainly on commercial, tax and civil litigation, as well as arbitration. Timothy is a leading litigator in Uganda and  has successfully represented major financial institutions, multinational corporations, and energy sector clients in complex litigation, constitutional matters and international arbitration.  His notable work includes enforcing a USD 153 million foreign arbitral award on behalf of the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, defending the Uganda Bankers Association and 30 commercial banks in a landmark constitutional petition, and acting for the Central Bank in several high‑stakes recovery and regulatory matters, among other high value matters.
Sarah Nassali

Sarah Nassali

Sarah is an associate in the Banking and Finance Team. Sarah has direct experience handling complex asset sales and purchases, property transfers, mortgages, and re-mortgages. She works closely with a broad client base including local and international lenders, borrowers, investment funds, and development finance institutions (DFIs), supporting them in various financing and project development transactions within Uganda.  Her foundational expertise extends to corporate law and mergers & acquisitions, where she has assisted in establishing corporate entities, conducting due diligence exercises, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and drafting and reviewing key corporate transaction documents. Sarah is actively involved in advising on transaction structuring and routinely provides practical support to regional and multinational clients on a range of advisory inquiries that impact their operations. 
Fred Ssenyonga

Fred Ssenyonga

Fred is a partner in the Banking and Finance Team. He has over 10 years’ combined experience in the Banking and Finance practice gained through his engagement with 3 commercial banks in Uganda. During this period, he has advised on and participated in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of syndicated facilities, trade finance deals, receivables financing and commodity financing transactions. This has often entailed review and negotiation of complex financing documents, securitization instruments and legal opinions from different jurisdictions. 
Isaac Walukagga

Isaac Walukagga

Isaac Walukagga is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Team.  His portfolio includes multimillion‑dollar commercial recoveries, high‑stakes tax litigation, transfer pricing advisory for global financial institutions, and precedent‑setting employment and tenancy cases at Uganda’s highest courts. Isaac has represented international Banks before the High Court (Commercial Division) in multimillion‑dollar recovery actions. He has also advised an international road construction company in an integrity‑based investigation with the African Development Bank and Uganda’s Anti‑Corruption Department, and helped design a full integrity compliance structure for the company.
Stephen Zimula

Stephen Zimula

Stephen Zimula is a partner the in the Dispute Resolution Team. He specialises in high‑value and complex commercial litigation in matters involving debt recovery, real estate, and tax. His experience includes recovering multimillion‑dollar sums for top commercial banks—often through the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court—and successfully defending institutions against large claims intended to frustrate recovery efforts. He has represented prominent real estate companies and high‑net‑worth investors in tax disputes before the Tax Appeals Tribunal, securing the withdrawal or reversal of substantial assessments. Stephen routinely advises on property acquisitions, condominium developments, and due‑diligence processes in land acquisitions.
