Litigation

Timothy is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Litigation Team and is mainly involved in commercial litigation.

Timothy has established himself as a key figure in banking and commercial litigation in Uganda and has been involved in numerous ground-breaking cases.

Recently, Timothy has expanded his practice to include tax litigation, working closely with a specialized team to develop the firm's tax litigation and advisory department. His experience includes representing high-profile clients such as Samsung Electronics East Africa Limited, Uganda Breweries Limited, Rangers Ltd, Absa Bank Uganda Ltd, DFCU Bank Ltd, and East African Cranes Ltd in significant tax disputes before the Tax Appeals Tribunal.

In addition to his litigation work, Timothy has cultivated a strong interest in landlord and tenant law, becoming a trusted advisor to Knight Frank Uganda, the leading real estate and property management company in the country. He has successfully represented Knight Frank and its clients in court and continues to advise them on emerging trends in landlord-tenant law.

Timothy is a member of the Uganda Law Society and East Africa Law Society.

Timothy holds an LL.B (Hons.) degree from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Uganda.
