TM & Partners have assisted Hines European Property Partners in connection with the indirect acquisition from the kitchen manufacturer Nobia of an industrial property currently being constructed in Jönköping.

The deal is structured as a sale and leaseback-transaction, where Nobia, in connection with the divestment, enters into a lease agreement with an initial term of 20 years. The new factory, which will be used in Nobia’s production of kitchens, covers approximately 129,500 square meters and is expected to be completed in autumn 2024. The agreed property value amounts to SEK 1.35 billion.

Hines is an American real estate company founded in 1957, which is currently holding properties in approximately 30 different countries. The acquisition in Jönköping is Hines’ first acquisition in Sweden.

Nobia is a kitchen producer, primarily known for the brands Marbodal, HTH and Norema, and has previously carried out its operations in Tidaholm.
