In recognition of its remarkable achievements in the areas of Copyright and Design, Lee & Ko was awarded “Law Firm of the Year” at the Managing IP Asia Pacific Awards 2023 hosted by the Managing IP (MIP).
In addition, Lee & Ko attorney Un Ho Kim was consecutively honored as the “IP Practitioner of the Year 2023” following 2022. Mr. Kim has successfully dealt with high-profile IP lawsuits and cases which have attracted national and international attention, including representing Samsung in a patent infringement suit against Apple, Microsoft in a patent infringement suit, BTS and Blackpink in a preliminary injunction suit for unfair competition, and in a recent case, he also won a patent infringement suit for Coway ice water purifier. As an IP law expert, he currently serves as the chairman of the Korean Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (KIPLA).
MIP Asia Pacific Awards is annually announced by Managing IP, a global IP publication, which selects the top law firm of each country based on surveys and interviews conducted with IP professionals and clients from the Asia region.
