Deloitte is a key tax adviser to several savings banks such as Grupo Banco Marenostrum and Banca Cívica. The team includes 300 tax consultants led by 26 partners, and provides specialist advice on matters such as international tax, VAT and transfer pricing, as well as M&A-related advice. At KPMG Abogados, a team led by Victor Mendoza recently advised Banco Santander on tax structuring when it acquired a stake in Polish bank Bank Zachodni WBK.
