At Advokatfirmaet Thommessen AS, the ‘highly commercial’ Jacob Bull is advising DONG on a $1.2bn development in the Danish North Sea. Bergen-based Jan Brudvik advised Viken Shuttle on negotiations with Samsung Heavy Industries for five Suezmax vessels. Pål Lieungh is also recommended.

Kvale Advokatfirma Da’s Jens Brede is regarded by some as ‘the best lawyer in Norway for offshore construction-related work’, and is ‘able to grasp very complicated technical issues and discuss such issues in a contractual context’.
Selmer’s team head Nils Bugge advised Kleven Maritime on the NOK760m shipbuilding contracts for offshore service vessels with Olympic Shipping, and also acted for Odfjell Drilling AS. Nicoline Wessel-Aas has assisted clients, including Kleven Maritime, with new construction contracts.
