Position

Louise is a founding partner of AO Hall, the predecessor firm of Walkers (Guernsey) LLP and is head of the firm’s Guernsey Employment practice. Louise specialises in all aspects of employment law and has substantial experience in advising clients from all business sectors (predominantly financial services) on staff and employment issues including unfair dismissal claims, drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures, changes to terms and conditions of employment, grievance and disciplinary issues, discrimination, misconduct and capability issues, managing sickness absence, redundancy, senior executive contracts and termination, compromise agreements, housing and right to work issues and employment law aspects of pension changes.

Career

Prior to joining Walkers, Louise founded AO Hall LLP having previously been a Partner at a leading offshore firm in Guernsey. Before moving offshore in 1990, Louise practised with Baker & McKenzie in London and was articled at Slaughter & May, also in London.
