Ms Jessica Robinson

Jessica Robinson is a senior associate based in Walkers’ Guernsey office, specialising in advising on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and corporate finance matters.
Her experience includes M&A transactions involving regulated trust company service providers, as well as a major Middle East acquisition for Amazon.com Inc.
Jessica has worked in Walkers’ BVI, Guernsey and Jersey offices, and advises on BVI, Cayman and Guernsey law.
Prior to moving offshore, she practised in the London office of a major international firm for five years, during which time she completed two secondments with major banking clients. Jessica also completed another secondment with a major international bank in Jersey, providing training and designing and implementing robust internal legal procedures.
Jessica speaks French.
Prior to joining Walkers, Jessica worked for five years in the corporate department of Dentons in London, specialising in mergers and acquisitions.
While at Dentons she was seconded to the legal team of the General Counsel at Virgin Money, and to Citibank, providing assistance on general legal matters as well as larger structured finance projects.

Areas of expertise include the formation and regulation of insurance structures, insurance sector M&A, regulatory and coverage issues, as well as the use of insurance wrappers as a wealth structuring tool. Jessica Robinson , after recent promotion to senior counsel, is another lawyer to note, with experience in insurance-related corporate transactions.
Walkers‘ investment fund and corporate team grew in 2022, with the arrival of Craig Cordle from Ogier, adding an experienced hand in fund structuring and transactions. The group is jointly led by Kate Storey , whose practice spans investment fund structuring and finance, as well as equity raising and listings; and managing partner Matt Sanders , who often coordinates multijurisdictional fund deals involving the Channel Islands and London offices. Chris Hutley-Hurst has substantial experience in private equity fund and listed fund formation, as well as a variety of fund transactions.
