MOL Romania Petroleum Products S.R.L. won 7 out of the 13 lots for services spaces leased under concession by Compania Națională de Administrare a Infrastructurii Rutiere S.A. for equipping/fitting out, operating and maintaining the services spaces located on Romanian motorways open to road traffic, on the routes of Nadlac – Sibiu and Pitesti – Bucharest (A1) and Cernavoda – Constanta (A2). The company retained Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii to provide full advisory services in respect thereof.

The lawyers from Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii were involved in all the stages of the concession procedure, their activities covering legal advice on the requirements of the tender documentation, the legal structuring of the participation in the tendering procedure, the tender preparation and submission, the drafting of answers to the contracting authority’s requests for clarification and the executing the concession contracts. Previously, the lawyers also assisted MOL during the prior market consultation.
MOL thus continues the historical collaboration it started with Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii on this type of projects in 2015, on the occasion of a similar procedure for the rental of services spaces located on several sections of the A1 Motorway.
