Zurich Airport International AG on Saturday i.e. July 17, 2021 signed a shareholder agreement with the Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) for the development of an international Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
As per the Shareholders Agreement, NIAL will hold one golden share in Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd (YIAPL) — a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG and the concessionaire for the development of greenfield international airport at Jewar, Greater Noida.
NIAL is a company set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, NOIDA Authority, Greater NOIDA Authority and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, to act as the nodal agency for the Noida International Airport project.
