The Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) has produced a TAI Arbitrator Spotlight video introduction of Anuwat Ngamprasertkul, Partner as well as Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Co-Head of Tech-Media-Telecoms (TMT) at Blumenthal Richter & Sumet.
In the TAI Arbitrator Spotlight, Anuwat provides an overview of his 20 years’ experience including working on government-related projects according to Terms of Reference and Requests for Proposals as well as drafting concessionaire agreements including for Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mega projects in Thailand where he focuses on the complexities of agreements. Anuwat also assists private organizations on business agreement disputes where he works on drafting, negotiation and finalization of major agreements related to transactions. As an experienced arbitrator, Anuwat provides fairness and insights into the practicalities of business to the parties in dispute, and he works on cases involving complex transactions to render a judgment award to both sides of the parties.
Anuwat is also experienced in digital and electronic proceedings where he recently completed an arbitration case involving Artificial Intelligence. All of the documents had to be handled electronically as digital files on a platform.
TAI fosters and promotes arbitral proceedings in Thailand, providing legal consultation to both the private and public sectors. TAI has qualified experts to act as arbitrators and works with promptness, effectiveness and in accordance with international standards.
