Brief Description: The Lenders granted a rupee term loan facility aggregating to a sum of INR 2195 crores or USD 264.5 Million approx. to the Company. The transaction involved the Lenders entering into the financing documents with the Company, its promoter- JSW Future Energy Limited, its sponsor JSW Energy Limited and its future promoter JSW Neo Energy Limited pending amalgamation of the promoter and future promoter becoming effective. The Facility has been sanctioned for a 300 MW Tuticorin wind power project and 150 MW Dharapuram wind power project, both located in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Firm’s Role: Involved in drafting, negotiating and finalising the transaction structure and documents, in conducting legal due diligence and also advising, assisting in completion of pre-commitment closing formalities and assisted the Lenders with the pre-commitment and pre-disbursement compliance reports. The Firm also assisted and advised on creation and perfection of security.
