Singapore, 7 December 2023 – Dentons Rodyk has announced that leading dispute resolution lawyer Alexander Lee has re-joined the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice as a Partner.  He was most recently a Director at Drew & Napier.

Alexander brings with him over 13 years of expertise in complex commercial matters, including shareholder, banking, insolvency, energy and real estate disputes.  Recognised as one of Singapore’s Rising Stars in 2022 by Asian Legal Business, he has represented state-owned entities, listed companies and financial institutions in the Singapore Court and international arbitrations, including in landmark cases.  Amongst other areas, he specialises in advising start-ups, VCs and funds on contentious matters and acts for clients from a wide range of industries including fintech, EV and life sciences.

Joint Deputy Managing Partner and Head of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice Lek Siang Pheng says, “We are delighted to have Alex reprise his role within the firm. His experience in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional disputes makes him not only an asset to our firm, but to any client he serves.

I am delighted to return to the Dentons Rodyk family, and excited to continue to build my practice with Dentons’ leading disputes practice and global presence,” says Alexander.

Alexander’s arrival at the firm marks its fourth Partner hire of the year, with Partners Lee Kee Min, Eunice Yao and Senthil Dayalan joining Dentons Rodyk earlier this year. This announcement continues the firm’s strategy to further its growing success with an increasing and effective pool of talent.  Dentons Rodyk was named just last month as Singapore’s best law firm for the second year running, in a survey by the nation’s flagship daily The Straits Times and global statistics portal Statista.
