New Delhi, India, March 21, 2024 – Saraf and Partners, a premier full-service law firm in partnership with O.P. Jindal Global University, announced the launch of “Fali Nariman Scholarship and Annual Lecture Series”. The Firm has established this series to honour the legacy of eminent jurist Late Mr. Fali Sam Nariman and to promote excellence in legal education and research. This initiative is aimed at supporting and inspiring budding legal professionals.
The event, which took place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at The Oberoi in New Delhi, was a huge success and was attended by over 400 members of judiciary, dignitaries, bureaucrats, political parties, and industry leaders.
The evening distinguished itself through a Poetry/Shayari Jugalbandi where Tushar Mehta, the Solicitor General of India, the Chief Guest for the event, took lead in conjunction with Kapil Sibal, a notable Indian lawyer & politician. Furthermore, a Jugalbandi session ensued, featuring the eminent poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar alongside the esteemed writer Dr. Rakhshanda Jalil. Also, renowned cultural revivalist Muzaffar Ali was in conversation with Suhel Seth, a prominent columnist.
