We are delighted to announce the launch of our Korea desk and the joining of Ms. Jiyoung Bae as Partner and Head of Korea Desk.
Jiyoung – a widely known expert in Middle Eastern legal affairs – brings more than 15 years of experience to Matouk Bassiouny. She formerly worked at Bae Kim & Lee (“BKL”) as a partner stationed in the UAE.
We are also delighted to announce that Matouk Bassiouny (“MB”) and BKL, one of the biggest and most renowned law firms, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) to facilitate cooperation between both firms. This announcement follows a joint seminar in the presence of H.E. Sami M. Alsadhan, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Korea.
Both MB and BKL plan to carry out numerous projects in the future, which include seeking joint business opportunities, publishing the latest legal information and trends in Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, and jointly hosting conferences.
