Apparcel Uriarte & Vassallo Abogados (AUV) has promoted lawyer Consuelo Mackenna as a new partner, which will enhance the delivery of legal solutions in corporate matters, with a focus on the areas of fintech and venture capital.
Consuelo studied Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and holds an LL.M. in Banking, Corporate and Financial Law from Fordham University School of Law in New York. Also, a Diploma in Business Taxation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Between 2013 and 2019 she worked at Banco Itaú as a Senior Corporate Lawyer. Before joining AUV, she worked as an Associate Attorney at Sterlington LLP, New York.
At AUV, she has worked as a senior associate attorney, leading its corporate area since November 2020, when she joined the firm. In that role, she was the lead attorney in important matters for clients both in Chile and abroad.
