Homburger advised Perfetti Van Melle, the owner of confectionary brands such as Chupa Chups and Mentos, on its USD 1.35 bn acquisition of Mondelez’s developed-market gum business. The acquisition includes the gum brands Trident, Stimorol, Hollywood and V6. The transaction closed on October 1, 2023.
