HEUSSEN Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH has strengthened its Frankfurt office with Wolfgang K. Meding as a partner in corporate and transactional law as of 1 January. Wolfgang K. Meding previously worked for many years as a lawyer and partner at BUSE in Frankfurt. His practice focuses on corporate law, distribution law and project business in connection with the People’s Republic of China.

Stephan Correll, Head of HEUSSEN’s Frankfurt office, explains: “Wolfgang Meding has extensive experience in advising companies, their shareholders, management and other corporate bodies through his many years of working in several internationally active law firms. In addition, he has been advising companies on their way to China as well as Chinese companies on their investments in Germany and Europe for many years. Both fit perfectly with our advisory services and we are therefore pleased to have been able to win Mr Meding for HEUSSEN.” Wolfgang K. Meding adds: “HEUSSEN is already strong in my practice areas of corporate law and M&A. This, together with the China desk based in Frankfurt, offers me the opportunity not only to use my potential to the full, but also to help develop the practices further.”

Corporate law is one of HEUSSEN’s core areas of expertise. More than 30 partners and lawyers advise in particular on transactions, financing rounds and restructurings. National and international clients are advised across all offices on all corporate law matters as well as on all questions relating to corporate organisation. The team also has extensive experience in cross- border matters.

The China Desk advises Chinese companies and investors, whether they are international groups, medium-sized companies or state-owned enterprises, on all issues relating to their entry into the German market. To the same extent, the team also advises German companies on all business activities in China.
