Goltsblat BLP, the Russian practice of
international law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP), has advised Gett, a global on-demand mobility
company, on its USD 100 m financing from Sberbank.

Gett
will use the Sberbank funding to expand its services rapidly. This funding
complements Gett’s recent USD 300 m strategic investment from
Volkswagen, bringing total funds raised by Gett to USD 640 m.

This cross-border deal is another
example of the seamless international service offered by Goltsblat BLP / BLP
via its London and Moscow offices and in collaboration with local law firms in
the US, Cyprus and Israel.

Russian Banking & Finance
Partner Oleg Khokhlov led the Moscow team on the Russian aspects,
assisted by Associates Igor Zhivotov and Artemiy Bondarev. The
BLP London team consisted of partners Daisy Reeves, Nicholas Myatt and Tamara
Quinn
, each with support from Associates Laura Dennis-Coyne and Natalie
Graham.

Number one in Europe, Gett
is available in more than 100 cities worldwide, including New York, Moscow, Tel
Aviv and London. In London alone, more than half of all black cabs are
running on Gett.
