Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants (Galadari) is pleased to announce the promotion of Intellectual Property and Data Protection Lawyer Raka Roy to Partner, as part of the firm’s strategic plans to bolster our commercial offerings.
Raka has been heading the IP and Data Protection department at Galadari since she joined the firm in 2019. Her award-winning expertise and practice have considerably grown in the past couple of years, expanding and diversifying Galadari’ s client portfolio to globally renowned retail conglomerates and US industrial giants. Raka regularly advise Dubai government authorities in their projects. She also assists businesses establishing their presence in the Middle East and across the world. She routinely helps clients with benchmark surveys and advises on media and advertising laws. Raka has successfully defended international fashion brands and grey good companies in litigation action in the UAE, as well as enforced local and international courts’ decisions.
In addition to her IP and Data Protection practice, Raka assists clients in their commercial requirements, proposing a rounded approach to her offering.
