The renewable energy company OX2 has been awarded the contract to construct the 357 MW Valhalla wind power farm with 85 wind power plants in Sweden. It will be one of the largest land-based wind power farms in Europe. The customer for the project is Aquila Capital.

The wind power farm will be built in the Bollnäs and Ockelbo municipalities and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2020. The permits for the wind power farm have been developed in a cooperation between OX2 and Bergvik Skog.

The project strengthens OX2’s leading market position in the Nordic region, where the company is currently constructing six wind power farms with a total output of 717 MW.

Foyen Advokatfirma assisted OX2 in the negotiations of supply agreements and service agreements. The lead partner at Foyen was Jacob Hamilton.
