The renewable energy company OX2 has been awarded a contract to build the 14.4 MW Ykspihlaja wind power farm with 4 wind power plants in Finland. The customer is Aquila Capital.

The wind power farm will be built in Karleby, which is approximately 100 km from Vasa. This is one of Finland's most favorable locations for wind with an average wind speed of 7.7 meters per second at the hub height of the turbines. The facility is estimated to produce approximately 55 GWh per year after it is turned over to Aquila Capital in the beginning of 2018.

Foyen assisted OX2 in the negotiations of supply agreements and service agreements. The lead partner at Foyen was Jacob Hamilton.
