Eterna Law successfully defended the interests of Polish agro company in a dispute with the Ukrainian agro trader.

Eterna Law initiated proceedings in the commercial court of Chernihiv oblast in connection with baseless retaining pre-paid contracts for the supply of agricultural products

Special attention within the case was paid to the application of the provisions of Ukrainian legislation, as well as the rules of the UN Convention on Contracts for the international sale of goods (Vienna Convention) legal regulation of a pre-payment return.  Despite the defendant's attempt to tighten a dispute, a team of Eterna Law lawyers was able to swiftly achieve a positive result for the client- the lawsuit was satisfied in full amount and the respondent was charged the entire amount of the debt. Interests of the client, in this case, were represented by Alexander Kravets, Senior Associate, Anton Sokolov, Junior Associate. The project was led by Oleh Beketov, Partner and Head of International Litigation Department.
