Niederer Kraft Frey advised private equity firm EMZ Partners (EMZ) and its portfolio company Aspire Education Group,a privately operated education group in the German-speaking region, as Swiss counsel on the acquisition of five WEKA Group companies in Switzerland and Germany. The combination will create a leading educational group with a focus on adult education in the DACH region.
The NKF team was led by Corporate/M&A partners Roman Sturzenegger and Moritz Maurer, working with counsel Janine Reudt-Demont (Data Protection), senior associate Simon Bühler (Regulatory), associate Ivo Milanesi (Employment) and junior associate Niklaus Hatz (Corporate/M&A).
