Singhania & Partners LLP is pleased to share that the firm’s practice leaders including Senior Partner, Shilpa Shah and Partner Vikas Goel have been nominated by TerraLex as Co-chairs of Construction and Infrastructure Practice Group and Regulatory, White-collar Crimes and Compliances Practice Group respectively.  

They will  be  Co- Chairs  from 1 November 2021, for the year 2021-22. In the last part of 2020, Senior Partner, Dipak Rao was also elected as Co-chair of Intellectual Property, Licensing & Technology Practice Group.

Vikas with almost 25 years of experience is a reputed name in regulatory and compliance, corporate litigation, labour disputes, bankruptcy, and insolvency procedures to name a few. Vikas has co-authored a book on White-Collar Crimes in India which is under print with Thomson Reuters. Vikas is trustworthy and committed to his professional commitments and brings a lot of stability and focus on whatever he does. He is well-read and his knowledge across jurisdictions in this area is going to be helpful in effectively engaging practice group members.

The Construction & Infrastructure Practice Group represents stakeholders in both the public and private sectors on projects all over the world. With more than three decades in the legal profession, Shilpa heads firm’s Bengaluru practice. She has counselled domestic as well as multinational corporate houses, PSUs, Ministries and Government Authorities in infrastructure and dispute resolution matters.

Shilpa is also listed amongst the top 100 individual lawyers in Forbes Legal Powerlist 2020. She is a respected name in legal fraternity in India especially in infrastructure and construction sector. With her mettle, experience, and network she is going to be an asset for the other lawyers in the practice group who are already advising in this area.

Of course, she instantly develops a connect with her colleagues and fellow professionals. She  is already a known face to number of TerraLex member firms which have referred India related work to her. Her leadership, extra-ordinary multitasking skills, and get it done attitude when it comes to professional commitments will help the practice group reach greater heights and achieve its objectives as mutually agreed amongst members.
