Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has advised Sberbank Investments and the Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF, established by the Russian Direct Investment Fund and China Investment Corporation) on a RUB 1.6 bn investment structured as a syndicated venture loan in Eruditor Group holding, owner of the leading Russian professional services marketplace Profi and Zoon information service.

Profi enables professionals to seek customers and users to find qualified specialists in multiple sectors, including tutors, repair and beauty professionals, sports coaches, etc.

Zoon provides consumers with information about various places and organisations in the tertiary sector and helps businesses to promote themselves.

The funds attracted from RCIF and SberInvest will be used to develop existing and new products and services, and to expand the business onto foreign markets.

The transaction support team was led by Banking and Finance Counsel Igor Zhivotov. Corporate and M&A Partner Anton Panchenkov supervised corporate aspects of the deal.
