Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has advised Algorithmics, a well-known international maths and programming school, on raising USD 10 m in investment from Winter Capital Partners and the Russia-China Technological Investment Fund (RCIF, set up by the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the China Investment Corporation), and on acquisition by Winter Capital Partners of the stakes held by a number of the company’s minority shareholders.

Algorithmics provides children with offline and online teaching in programming and maths, using a unique methodology and its own platform. Since its inception four years ago, Algorithmics has opened in 37 countries. Mail.ru Group has also invested in Algorithmics. The company has over 200 franchisees in more than 250 cities. Each year, it uses its unique educational content to teach over 150 thousand students throughout the world. Lessons take place on an interactive IT platform developed by the company itself and the study materials have been translated into 11 languages.
