A Mubadala Investment Company has acquired a stake in Open Mineral AG in its latest $33 million series C financing round, which was led by Mubadala among further co-investors. Open Mineral AG operates a digital trading platform for base metal commodities.
Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to Mubadala in this transaction. The team was co-led by Christoph Neeracher and Raphael Annasohn (both M&A) and included Lukas Bründler and Lazar Lepir (both M&A), Urs Brügger (Banking/Regulatory), Markus Wang and Jonas Bornhauser (both IP/IT) as well as Laura Widmer and Laura Rubeli (both Employment).
