Earlier this month, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) launched “Advocacy Hub” initiative by which it seeks engaging the private sector in the efforts of strengthening and booting the development of the state’s economy.

The Advocacy Hub is designed to welcome all the businesses of the private sectors, hearing their voices, and assessing their ideas, as it serves as a tool to ease communication between private businesses and government agencies and creating a productive dialogue that paves the way for new ideas and tackles business challenges.

In the first phase of the launch, businesses from various commercial, investment and industrial sectors will be invited to join and propose the formulation of communal working groups in various economic activities, addressing the interests of businesses and empowering their competitive capabilities.

In the second phase of the launch, 40 community working groups will be formed to represent various economic activities based on the proposals received from businesses and approved by the ADCCI.

This initiative, while observing the target of maintaining and developing the achievements realized so far in Abu Dhabi, aims further to strengthen the cooperation between the public and private sectors, by affording the private sector opportunities to participate in decision-making and contribute to make legislations that support the growth and prosperity of the private sector business.
