Pablo J. Alliani is a partner at Bomchil and head of the firm ́s Oil & Gas Practice.

He has represented international and domestic clients in a wide range of matters related to their operations in Argentina, from international oil and gas players, independent companies and state-owned companies, in oil and gas contracts negotiations, regulatory matters, M&A and infrastructure and investment projects, including in the world famous Vaca Muerta formation.

He was Chair of the Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (SEERIL) of the International Bar Association (IBA) and President of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) during 2011-2012, and he served on the AIPN Board for ten years.

Mr. Alliani holds a J.D. degree from University of Buenos Aires and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Southern Methodist University.

Before joining Bomchil in 2020, he was a partner at Alliani & Bruzzón and a foreign visiting attorney with Baker Botts LLP.
