    • Fermín Caride is a partner in the Financial Services and Capital Markets department.

       

      His practice focuses on corporate financing, investment projects and capital markets transactions, specializing in stock market and banking regulations. He regularly handles summary financial, exchange and stock market proceedings before the Argentine Central Bank, the National Securities Commission and other share markets. He also regularly participates in mergers and acquisitions operations.

       

      Between 2007 and 2008, he worked as a foreign associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. In 2008, he also worked as in-house counsel at Merrill Lynch, advising the principal credit group in credit and investment operations in Latin America, working for the teams in New York, San Pablo, Mexico City and Buenos Aires.

       

      As a specialist in financial and capital markets law, he has been recognized by publications such as Chambers & Partners Global, Chambers & Partners Latin America, The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, International Financial Law Review and Latin Lawyer. He has also been included among the best Argentine lawyers under 40 by the magazine Apertura.

       

      He is Deputy Member of the Governing Board of the Banks’ Legal Representatives Committee of Argentina and a Professor of the Masters in Financing at the Business School of Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires.
