Position

Craig is an asset management lawyer advising on all aspects of the structuring, restructuring, merger, astablishment and operation of investment funds and other collective investment arrangements, including the marketing of investment vehicles in numerous jurisdictions.

Craig acts as ongoing legal counsel to various boards of investment fund companies, investment managers and sponsors and has extensive experience of listing investment vehicles on numerous markets, including the London Stock Exchange plc's Main Market and Specialist Fund Segment, Euronext Amsterdam, the Irish Stock Exchange and the International Stock Exchange. In addition, Craig has in-depth experience on the operation of settlement systems, including dual-settlement across multiple exchanges.

Career

Before joining Ogier, Craig spent over 10 years working in the investment funds teams of two leading international law firms in London.

Craig also provide regulatory advice, including to funds and asset managers on the application of the Alternative Investment Fund Managaers Directive, as well as long-term investment management agreement arrangement for insurers.

Education

Craig studied at BPP Law School and the University of Reading.

Bryon Rees handles a range of M&A deals, including ones featuring locally regulated businesses with global operations. Tim Clipstone joined from Maples Group in Tortola, bringing with him BVI expertise - which is also contributed by well-regarded senior associate Diana Collas.
