Dr. Mert Elçin is a partner at the Firm and advises local and international clients on complex and cross-border M&A transactions, banking and finance projects, and life sciences matters. With more than 15 years of experience, he counsels companies across heavily regulated industries, including life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, automotive, retail, technology, and manufacturing.
In the corporate and financial services sphere, Mert advises on the full spectrum of M&A, banking and finance, insolvency, and restructuring transactions. He represents banks, brokers, insurers, asset managers, venture capital firms, private equity investors, and multinational corporates. His work includes cross-border investments, financing deals, joint ventures, regulatory compliance projects, and high-stakes transactional mandates.
Mert is particularly recognised for his deep understanding of Turkish regulatory frameworks, especially those governing medicinal products, and financial institutions. His practice covers safety risk management, licensing, and authorisations.
