Senior Associate

Ceren Ceyhan is a senior associate at Kinstellar’s Istanbul office, Head of TMT Istanbul and focusing on compliance, data protection, and technology law. She advises multinational clients on cross-border data governance, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation projects, with a particular emphasis on start-ups, online platforms, and companies across sectors such as technology, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, insurance, gaming. She is a CIPP/E certified privacy professional and regularly assists clients with global data management strategies involving Turkish data protection laws, as well as sector-specific compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and digital health fields. Ceren also provides strategic support on cyber attack and data breach incidents for data controllers, market entry risk assessments for foreign entities, and long-term compliance planning in alignment with global standards such as GDPR, and local regulations. Her experience spans engagements involving cyber attack incidents, distributor due diligence, secondary data use, and internal investigations. She actively coordinates with international counsel and manages multi-jurisdictional projects on behalf of clients operating in complex and high-risk regulatory environments. Known for her sharp legal analysis and pragmatic approach, Ceren plays a key role in the firm’s compliance and data protection practice.
