Edmund Emre Özer is a Partner in Istanbul office and leading Corporate and M&A work in Turkey. He has a broad corporate and corporate finance practice with a particular focus on public and private acquisitions, financing, joint ventures and capital markets transactions.
Emre has represented clients in a variety of different sectors, both regulated and unregulated, including on many of the highest profile recent transactions in the Turkish market, and has close to 25 years of experience.
Emre worked for almost a decade in the corporate/commercial department of the “Magic Circle” firm Slaughter and May in London. After that, he worked as a senior foreign lawyer at White & Case Istanbul office before establishing its own firm.
Over the course of his career, Emre has been recognised by the main international legal directories and other benchmark publications as one of the leading lawyers in Turkey.
