Career

Kobi Ben-Chitrit focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, initial public offerings and diverse corporate and commercial transactions. He also represents acquirers, VCs and target companies in acquisitions and financings and advises on intellectual property related transactions such as joint ventures, licensing deals and distribution agreements. In addition, Kobi has extensive experience advising technology startups in regard to optimal corporate structuring, counseling companies from their early stages and first financings through their acquisition or IPO and beyond.

Kobi also has considerable experience handling international technology licensing, OEM, partnering, distribution and other commercial technology-related agreements for companies active in a variety of industries.

Kobi is recognized by his colleagues and peers as a leading lawyer in the Israeli M&A scene. The international legal directory ‘The Legal 500’ recognized him as “an exceptional lawyer and a true business partner” in the high-tech field.

With vast legal experience practicing in Israel and as an attorney in the U.S. law firm of Hogan & Hartson, as well as entrepreneurial expertise in establishing high-tech companies, Kobi is dedicated to providing his clients with comprehensive, personalized and insightful legal services.

Kobi is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, teaching a course on investments and exits of emerging growth companies. He graduated from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1997 and was admitted to the Israel Bar in the same year. Kobi joined the firm in 1999 and became a partner in 2006.
