Career

Joeri focuses on high-tech, corporate finance and commercial, technology and transactional intellectual property, with a special emphasis on representing startups and emerging growth companies in an array of industries including high-tech, bio-tech and medical devices.

Joeri advises his startup clients on all matters that come up during their life cycle, such as corporate structuring, financings, R&D-related activities, commercial transactions and exit transactions. He counsels investors in high-tech companies—including venture capital funds, angel investors and strategic investors—in their initial investments, how to protect their interests in the companies in which they invest, and in exit transactions.

Joeri is a member of the Board of Directors of Eliya, The Israel Association for the Advancement of Blind and Visually Impaired Children (www.eliya.org.il). He was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands, moved to Israel in 1978. He received his law degree from Tel Aviv University in 1995 and was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1996.
