Setterwalls‘ full-service real estate practice garners praise for its ‘wide range of expertise and advisers’. Key areas of skill include handling an impressive portfolio of transactions, many of which are cross border, that concern property acquisitions, future land developments and usufructs. The group competently handles issues that involve commercial leases, financings, construction knowledge and contract negotiations. Patric Olofsson and Jessica Schönning head up the Stockholm office, with the former possessing a strong knowledge of investment structures and the latter having a particular focus on projects concerning hospitals, educational premises and commercial buildings. Malmö head Anders Frick has a strong understanding of joint venture and co-investment projects, while Gothenburg office head Jesper Kuschel has been active on forward-funding matters. The ‘highly skilled’ Magnus Steninger is experienced in cross-border real estate issues, and Sonny Ragnerstam stands out for his ‘client focus and understanding of the business agenda’.
