I advise Swedish and international clients in real estate law related matters and projects.

My day-to-day work includes real estate transactions, development projects and joint ventures. As part of this, I regularly assist clients in matters and negotiations regarding development and exploitation agreements, detailed development plans, land parcelling, transfer agreements, lease agreements and usufruct and easement matters. Furthermore, I have vast experience from complex development projects and handling of various legal and commercial issues that arise in such projects. I also have experience in proceedings related to detailed development plans and building permits.

I assist several large property companies in all their real estate related matters on a regular basis. Lawyer Rankings

Sweden > Real estate

Setterwalls‘ full-service real estate practice garners praise for its ‘wide range of expertise and advisers’. Key areas of skill include handling an impressive portfolio of transactions, many of which are cross border, that concern property acquisitions, future land developments and usufructs. The group competently handles issues that involve commercial leases, financings, construction knowledge and contract negotiations. Patric Olofsson and Jessica Schönning head up the Stockholm office, with the former possessing a strong knowledge of investment structures and the latter having a particular focus on projects concerning hospitals, educational premises and commercial buildings. Malmö head Anders Frick has a strong understanding of joint venture and co-investment projects, while Gothenburg office head Jesper Kuschel has been active on forward-funding matters. The ‘highly skilled’ Magnus Steninger is experienced in cross-border real estate issues, and Sonny Ragnerstam stands out for his ‘client focus and understanding of the business agenda’.
