As part of the Judicial & Legal Studies Institute (JLSI) training program, Shooq Mohamed, Senior Associate, and Mariam Eid, Associate, representing Al Doseri Law, gold sponsors of the event, delivered a series of insightful lectures to aspiring lawyers on civil liability and contract law.
These lectures were designed to provide new legal professionals with a comprehensive understanding of critical concepts in civil liability, focusing on both contractual and tortious obligations.
Throughout the lectures, the trainers delved into the complexities of civil responsibilities, examining the various types of damages that require compensation, the intricate process of estimating such compensation, and the Court of Cassation’s oversight of judges’ discretion in estimating compensation.
The lectures further covered foundational aspects of contract law, equipping aspiring lawyers with both theoretical knowledge and practical training and shared experiences and best practices developed over years of practice, offering trainees real-world insights that will support their future careers.
